A tire plug is a quick and temporary repair solution for small punctures in a car tire, usually caused by nails, screws, or other sharp objects. It is made of a rubber-based material coated with a sticky adhesive that helps seal the hole.
The procedure for using a Tire Plug
Determine where the puncture is.
Remove the sharp object from the wheel's surface with pliers or similar tools, then clean it.
Remove the air valve to deflate the wheel and make it easier to receive the plug wire. Remember that the air valve is quite sensitive.
Use the reamer to handle the puncture better, and prepare the installation tools and plug wire. Feed the cord through with the pliers. If you have liquid cement, apply a thin layer to the entire plug.
Rotate the pliers 90 degrees and make sure it's firmly in place. Insert the plug wire until it is two-thirds in. If the wire is too long, cut a part of it off.
After that, wait for the cement to dry, and check if the plug is firmly in place.
